Biography
I'm Jak Lewis, an up-and-coming Devon-based musician excited for regular gigs - be it opening acts, solo shows or bigger events through agencies and promoters. With a wealth of live experience under my belt, including opening for comedian Lee Nelson (BBC Three) and featuring on BBC Spotlight, I'm aiming for a career creating feel-good, relatable music that promotes positivity. After a brief struggle with mental health last year, I've found my artistic focus - using personal experiences to craft songs that could help others feeling lost or alone. I want my music to make a genuine difference in people's lives. In 2022 alone, I won Prestige's South West Performer of the Year (2nd year running), hit #3 on the N1M National Indie Charts and #17 Globally with "Never Stops." My forthcoming EP "Childhood Memories" continues that mission of spreading hope through an infectiously upbeat indie-pop sound. Performance Details: - Setlists from 30 mins to 3+ hours, with breaks - Versatile to tailor sets for any event - Extensive repertoire including requests - Previous clients: BBC, venues across London/South West, corporate events - Professional PA system provided
